Description

Taunton Solicitors are looking for a conveyancing paralegal to support a conveyancing team in a busy/growing law firm.
Someone wishing to progress and develop their career in Conveyancing would be ideally suited.
Responsibilities, File ownership and responsibility, Case management, Following firms procedures, Ensuring CQS and AML compliance, Working with others, to improve systems, including case management.
Skills & Experience, Previous experience in a similar role required, Good written and oral communication skills, Additional training available and supported by the firm.

Responsibilities

Work to and maintain Service Level Agreements
Liaising with clients, recommenders, conveyancers, agents and third parties. This will include communication in person, in writing, or by telephone.
Ability to produce accurate comprehensive documentation for clients, professional persons and third parties.
Assist fellow team members.
Develop working relationships with team members and third parties and maintaining them over time.
Work closely with the Office Manager to identify ongoing training requirements
Deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face to provide advice and assistance.
Keep the case management system and any third party web sites up to date in real time.
Process sales and purchases in your name and delegate tasks to the Legal Assistant which is pre-agreed within your team
Comply with internal Taunton Solicitors Policies and procedures
Any other administrative duties required to assist your team and other teams should the need arise
Ensure exposure to more complex titles to aid and enhance development
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
