Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Conveyancing Risk and Compliance Paralegal to support our busy conveyancing team by ensuring that all processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements. This is a critical role in minimising risks and protecting the integrity of our conveyancing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough compliance checks on conveyancing files, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Review and manage risk factors such as client due diligence, Money Laundering Regulations, and fraud prevention.
  • Maintain and update compliance records and risk management databases.
  • Identify and escalate risks or compliance issues to senior team members as required.
  • Liaise with clients, external solicitors, and internal teams to resolve compliance-related matters efficiently and professionally.
  • Stay up to date with industry standards, legislative changes, and compliance trends.
