Conveyancing Secretary (Transfers) required for busy Conveyancing Firm in Table View (Developments experience desirable)
Start date: As soon as possible

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric essential
  • Proficiency in MS Office (i.e.: MS Word & MS Outlook email)
  • Proficiency in AJS and Lexis
  • Proficiency in English (i.e.: verbal and written)
  • 3 - 5 years’ proven experience in a professional industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Takes ownership of daily tasks and duties
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Punctual
  • Takes initiative
  • Willingness to assist with adhoc duties

  • Attending to registration finances
  • Drafting registration letters and reports
  • Attending to file reconciliations
  • Facilitating re-assessments – printing and updating file as well as Lexis
  • Bond grant administration – printing, checking and updating matter comments
  • Attending to flysheet letters and updating file covers
  • Checking flysheet letter against bond grants
  • Lodgment administration –
  • Preparing documents for lodgment
  • Updating file cover
  • Updating Lexis
  • Updating matter comments
  • Copying lodgment cover and handing to senior
  • Uploading to Law Deed
  • Administering AJS printout
  • EFT administration
  • Drafting cancellation agreements
  • Drafting lower bond addendums
  • Facilitating Quick-sign OTP’s
  • Sending proof of payments to relevant party
  • Receipt administration
