We are currently seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join our Property Department. The ideal candidate will predominantly handle residential conveyancing matters, with some exposure to commercial property work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing.
  • Experience in handling commercial conveyancing is desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently.
  • Strong communication and client care skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
  • Sound understanding of SRA regulations and CQS requirements.
  • Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £22,880.00-£66,043.05 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, and shared ownership.
  • Handle commercial property transactions including leases, assignments, renewals, and small-scale purchases/sales.
  • Draft and review contracts, leases, title reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters.
  • Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients throughout the transaction.
  • Ensure compliance with the firm’s quality standards, regulatory requirements, and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and timekeeping using the firm’s case management system (e.g., LEAP).
  • Supervise junior staff or conveyancing assistants, if required.
