Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Residential & Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor to join our Property team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified Solicitor (2+ years PQE preferred) with proven experience in residential and commercial conveyancing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of property law, Land Registry, and Lender requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Client-focused, proactive, and well-organised with attention to detail.
  • Experience using case management systems (e.g., LEAP) is desirable.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a solicitor with strong experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing to handle a varied caseload from instruction to completion. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage files independently while delivering an exceptional client experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a full caseload of residential and commercial property transactions including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and commercial leases.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related property documents.
  • Conduct all relevant searches, due diligence, and title reviews.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and third parties to progress matters efficiently.
  • Ensure all work complies with SRA and CQS standards and internal risk management policies.
  • Meet financial and billing targets while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Supervise and support junior team members, if required.
  • Keep up to date with developments in property law and practice.
