REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer (minimum 3 years PQE preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in using case management systems (experience with LEAP is a plus)
  • A client-focused, proactive approach with attention to detail

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join our busy Property Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience handling their own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion, with some exposure to commercial conveyancing being desirable but not essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
  • Draft and review contracts, title documents, and other legal documentation
  • Conduct property searches and deal with enquiries
  • Ensure all files are managed in compliance with SRA standards and internal procedures
  • Provide excellent client care and timely updates throughout the process
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the team and firm
