Cook – Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield Full-Time | Non-Exempt About the Role: The Cook at Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong understanding of food safety practices. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering a great experience for all travelers and guests. What you will do: * Prepare food items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. * Ensure all food is made with attention to quality, freshness, and safety. * Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. * Follow all health, sanitation, and safety procedures, including proper food handling and storage. * Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team to meet service demands. * Restock and rotate food supplies as needed throughout the shift. * Communicate any equipment or food supply concerns to the Supervisor promptly. * Support opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and preparation tasks. What you will bring: * At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred. * Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices. * Ability to follow recipes and adhere to portion and presentation standards. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. * Dependable with strong time management and multitasking skills. * Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. * Prior experience in airport or travel-related food service settings. * ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification is a plus. 12pm to 8pm 5 days/week - set schedule will be made Days worked vary between Monday through Sunday
