Job Title: 2nd Cook – Breakfast Cook
Job Status: Permanent. 35-40 hours a week although hours may vary based on business levels
Start Wage: $26.98 per hour to $27.48 per hour (at 1 yr.) plus a comprehensive extended health benefits package

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The 2nd Cook is responsible for preparing all breakfast menu items to standard, as laid out by Restaurant Chef, and Chef Tournant in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience cooking breakfast specifically
• Available to work early mornings,weekends and weekdays
• Must have valid Food Safe Certification
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Have appropriate tools and Advanced knife skills
• Occupational First Aid, Food Safe level 2, and WHMIS knowledge an asset

• Able to work the hot station on the breakfast line in a high-volume setting
• Ensure high quality products are produced in a timely manner
• Prepare a variety of items by using recipes and the proper techniques
• Ensure safety, sanitation and cleanliness of self and work station at all times

• Communicate effectively with all team members including front of house and back of house
