Are you a diligent person who enjoys creating a delicious culinary experience? At Viva Memory Care at Dresher, located in the suburban Philadelphia —you’ll be a helping hand in the overall dining experience of our community in the place our residents call home.
What You’ll Do:
Cook – Follow recipes provided and plate food in a pleasing way to create a memorable dining experience for residents.
Sanitize – follow daily cleaning schedule for kitchen and dining room to maintain cleanliness.
Collaboration – connect with fellow staff to understand dietary needs, preferences, and medical accommodations.
Safety – ensure proper food preparation per Serve Safe and state regulations to protect residents from food borne illnesses.

Requirements
What you bring:
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors.
Previous experience in a memory care or senior living setting preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
Responsibilities
Cook and plate food to create a memorable dining experience for residents while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area. Collaborate with staff to understand dietary needs and ensure food safety according to regulations.
