Description Join Our Team as a Substitute Cook Aide! Position: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Hours: Flexible, typically between 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can support a positive environment for children and staff? Our Substitute Cook Aide helps keep our kitchen running smoothly while contributing to a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere. What You’ll Do: Assist our Cook in preparing meals and snacks. Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area. Help with table setting and meal service as needed. Transport food and supplies between program sites. Take over cooking duties in the Cook’s absence (training provided). Support classroom staff by washing toys and maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces. Keep open communication with the Cook and follow all program policies and procedures. What We’re Looking For: A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Flexibility to cover varying shifts. Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Familiarity with health and safety standards is a plus.
