The compensation range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets based on business needs. The compensation for this position is: $15 per hour - $15.5 per hour What You’ll Be Doing Cook up a variety of food items while working with grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment. Follow recipes like a pro to make sure every bite tastes just right. Help open or close the kitchen by prepping equipment, checking everything works, topping off fryers, and setting up for the next shift. Keep the kitchen clean and safe—because a sparkling kitchen workplace means great food and happy teammates. Follow instructions on safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials. Occasionally deliver food to guests in their seats or to tables in the lobby. Work quickly and safely so guests get their food hot and fresh. Work effectively with your team, communicating with fellow cooks to assemble food orders simultaneously and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Help create an inclusive environment to ensure everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected. Adherence to AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards, including black non-slip shoes, black pants, an AMC provided shirt (where applicable), and any items required by local regulations. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor—our team values fun, respect, and creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. Experience in food service is appreciated but not required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know! The role requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability. Our theatres are open year-round, so we value flexibility during busy times. Be a reliable teammate by showing up on time. Willing to complete required training and certifications, provided by AMC.
