Job Description:
Anglers Fish and Chips is looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing seafood dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring high-quality food standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items, including seafood, fries, and other fast-food dishes, following standard recipes.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering kitchen supplies.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and follow instructions from the head chef or restaurant management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook, preferably in seafood or fast food.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
