Job Description:
Anglers Fish and Chips is looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing seafood dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring high-quality food standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items, including seafood, fries, and other fast-food dishes, following standard recipes.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering kitchen supplies.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and follow instructions from the head chef or restaurant management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cook, preferably in seafood or fast food.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
