2–3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
Catering preparation experience (asset).
Ability to work well in a team.

MAPAQ hygiene and food safety certification (asset).

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities
Cook and prepare various foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
Prepare the daily menu.
Set up the workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
Measure, weigh, mix, chop, cut, and peel food items as needed.
Ensure quantities are accurate and food quality meets Aramark standards.
Demonstrate creativity while meeting client requirements.
Optimize food costs.
Assist with meal service.
Complete production, temperature, and waste records, etc.
Participate in stock inventory.
Comply with workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with legislation, company policies, and MAPAQ requirements.
