Description

We are seeking reliable and passionate Cooks and Assistant Cooks to join aged care facilities near Tamworth. You’ll be responsible for preparing nutritious and enjoyable meals while creating a positive dining experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals according to menu and dietary requirements
Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
Cater to special dietary needs and modified meals
Work closely with the kitchen and care team
Assist with stock rotation and general kitchen duties

About You

Previous experience as a Cook, Assistant Cook, or Kitchen Hand
Experience in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable
Food Safety/Handling knowledge or certification
Good understanding of dietary requirements
Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team
Compassionate and respectful when working with elderly residents
Relevant cooking qualifications are desirable for Cook positions

Successful applicants will be required to complete standard employment and compliance checks, including relevant police, work rights, vaccination, identification, and reference checks.
