What You'll Do: Set up and maintain your station with all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment — ready before the rush, clean after the close Execute prep work with precision: butchering, portioning, chopping, peeling, and mise en place Grill, sear, sauté, bake, and plate dishes to spec — consistently hitting quality and presentation standards Monitor cook times, temperatures, and doneness across multiple orders simultaneously Dress and garnish plates to ensure every dish leaves the window looking as good as it tastes Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen in full compliance with health and safety codes Manage ingredient quality, proper storage and rotation (FIFO), and flag stock shortages before they become problems What You Bring Proven line cook or grill cook experience in a professional kitchen environment Confident with knives, grills, flattops, fryers, ovens, and standard commercial cookware Strong command of cooking methods (grilling, broiling, baking, braising, sautéing, and more) Ability to execute recipes consistently while maintaining speed during high-volume service Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation procedures, and kitchen hygiene standards Team-first mentality with clear, direct communication on the line Open availability preferred , willingness to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical stamina to handle long shifts on your feet in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary school training is a plus.
