JOB POSTING: COOK AT BAR ARDO RESTAURANT

Join the culinary team at Bar Ardo, the sister restaurant to the Ardo, the Michelin-recognized restaurant renowned for its authentic Sicilian cuisine! We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to contribute to our vibrant kitchen environment and help elevate our dining experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment, with a strong emphasis on Italian or Mediterranean cuisine.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience:

• Cooking: 3 years (required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and execute dishes, ensuring adherence to Bar Ardo’s high culinary standards and authentic recipes.
• Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen workstation, prioritizing cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies, while minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
• Participate in staff training and development, sharing knowledge of Sicilian cooking techniques and ingredients with team members.
• Contribute to a harmonious kitchen atmosphere, working alongside a dedicated team to foster collaboration.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

-Prep items for your station
-Cook on the line during service times
-Clean down your station and write prep list for the next shift
-Help the Chef with daily kitchen dutie
