We are looking for a committed member of staff to join us here at this small family run pub in Danbury, The Bakers Arms. The part time position is for kitchen (a very small kitchen )and maybe bar . The applicant will be solely responsible for the kitchen the nights they work including the cleaning. Therefore kitchen experience is preferred but not essential as we’re happy to teach someone with the right practical knowledge and common sense. We will also consider a trainee minimum age 15. This would be a small yet vitally important part-time job with roughly 8 hours a week, one weekend evening and one other night. There can be some flexibility on the hours. Due to the short shift and few hours this would generally only suit a local person looking for top up hours or a student either looking to learn a variety of aspects of the pub trade or earn some extra money whilst studying. We have dogs and a child living at the pub and customers dogs too! So being comfortable around dogs and small children is a must as everyone does get involved.
