Join Beacon Community Services as a part-time Cook, an exciting opportunity to cook for various programs from the SHOAL Centre in Sidney. Reporting to the Manager of SHOAL Centre, the Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious and appetizing meals for our dine-in services, assisted living residents, catered events, and other programs. This role is vital for ensuring high-quality, delicious meals are created to meet dietary needs and preferences. The cook will work closely with the Food Service Workers to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages participation.
Days/Hours of Work: Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. There will also be opportunities to work various other shifts for special events, sick and vacation coverage, etc.
Union: BCGEU Stand Alone Agreement
