Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. The Cook will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen, ensuring excellent quality and presentation. Hours are 5:30am- 2:pm morning shift and 11:30-7:30 for night

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for 130 bed facility in timely fashion
• cooking and preparing various menu items and have knowledge of modified diets.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications

• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies

  Experience

• Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in culinary environment

• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Understanding of various cooking methods and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  -servsafe within first 60days of hire
• Certification from a culinary school is a plus
