ROLE
Will plan, prepare and serve well-balanced meals for residents in line with dietary requirements, preferences and care plans while maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and cook daily meals for up to 15 residents, ensuring variety and nutrition.
Cater for individual dietary needs, including allergies and medical conditions.
Maintain a safe ,clean and hygienic kitchen environment in line with Food Safety and Health Safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning to provide seasonal, balanced and appealing meals.
Support occasional special events e.g birthday, holidays
Order, check and store food supplies appropriately to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness
Work closely with care staff to understand residents preferences and ensure a positive mealtime experience.
