Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Cook role located in Colac, VIC. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring the quality and presentation of meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, monitoring food stock levels, and following food safety standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook or similar role
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Ability to cook, season, garnish, store, and portion food.
Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and creativity in food preparation Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
