Description Summary: Prepares and cooks food/meals in the Cuisine Department as directed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures that all prepared food meets Seaside’s standard of excellence. Cooks food in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served; Prepares foods for placement in display counters and other designated areas for hot foods; Prepares ingredients and follows menus and instructions; Ensures production and Keeps prepared food continuously moving out of kitchen; Prepares salads and HMR; Keeps entire kitchen clean, stocks and rotates; Other duties as assigned; Observe all store rules and company policies; Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations; Follow safety guidelines when working, especially when lifting, using cutting tools, large machinery, ladders, stretch and take breaks when performing repetitive motions, etc.; Follow health guidelines to ensure safe product is provided to our customers; Complies with all Food Safety rules. Knowledge of Weight & Measure Laws.
