ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Part-Time Chef to join the kitchen team at a 96-bed male hostel in central Bristol. This isn’t your typical kitchen role — it’s an opportunity to make a real difference. You’ll be preparing and serving lunch and dinner for residents and staff, many of whom are facing homelessness and other life challenges.
This is a rewarding position for someone who wants to use their culinary skills in a meaningful way. You’ll have the freedom to create daily specials, develop menus, and focus on quality food that offers comfort, nourishment, and dignity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve meals to residents and staff
• Create daily specials and varied menus
• Maintain food safety standards, including allergen, temperature, and fridge/freezer checks
• Assist with ordering and stock control
