Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team. You will join our catering team and be offered work on an ad-hoc basis which will mainly be weekends and evenings. You will be responsible for meal preparation, ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with the kitchen staff to create delicious and visually appealing dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant, fast food or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
