We are recruiting for a motivated Cook to be part of our team at Ashmere Nottinghamshire working at Sutton Court. With an overall rating of Good from CQC following our latest inspection.
Ashmere Nottinghamshire is a family run company established over 30 years ago. Our three residential homes provide a homely environment for elderly residential residents in Sutton in Ashfield. All our pet friendly homes are of the highest quality rating.
Ashmere is very much part of the community and most of our residents have previously lived locally. The three homes welcome elderly residential and early stages of dementia. Sutton Lodge provides care for residents with more advanced stages of dementia.
The role will have particular emphasis on dietary requirements, includes menu planning and meal prep for approximately 60 residents, preparation of special needs diets particularly allergy related and will include supervision of dining room and kitchen assistants.
Must have undertaken work of a similar nature and experience of working with the elderly is an advantage. Must be committed to high standards of customer care, be able to work as part of a team and with a friendly, caring nature.
3 days per week on a rota basis from 07.30 to 15.30, or 06.30 to 14.30.
