Blu Marlin Bistro is looking for a hardworking individual to join our amazing team. Located on the water’s edge next to the Reef Fleet terminal, Blu Marlin Bistro offers outdoor casual dining, serving gourmet breakfasts and lunch 365 days a year!
We are seeking a motivated Cook for a casual position that shares our passion for providing high-quality locally sourced ingredients to create new and exciting dishes for our customers to enjoy.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast & lunch items according to our menu and quality standards.
  • Ensure all food is cooked and presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during service.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform the management team of any shortages or discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings and some weekends as required by schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $31.23 – $37.47 per hour
