SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented Chef/Cook to join our dynamic team at The Elwes Arms, located in the heart of Great Billing. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences that align with our commitment to quality and service.

• Prepare and cook good quality meals according to our menu standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any dietary needs or preferences.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar role within the culinary field.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
• Creative flair for developing new recipes and menu items is preferred.
