New Role
Chef/Cook required for a busy café in Bebington.
We are looking for an experienced Chef / cook to join our family run Bistro Cafe.
Confidence in the kitchen is essential as you will be required to work solo preparing, cooking and clean down.
The hours are great as it’s daytime only.The shifts are Sunday 9-2pm, Monday and Thursday 8:15-3:15.
There is some flexibility with days so please advise your availability when applying.Further discussion will take place during interviews
A suitable candidate will have previous experience and will hold good knowledge and understanding of food hygiene. The menu will comprise of general breakfast and lunch meals, including full english, breakfast baps, cold and hot sandwiches, vegetarian options etc. There are 4-6 tables in the café and the take away menu is very popular too.
A successful applicant will have good communication skills, work well as part of the café team but competent in working independently in the kitchen, with organisation being key.
Food hygiene certificate .
