We are a family run day nursery in Leyton E10. We are now looking for a Nursery Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a nursery kitchen and be able to cook a healthy varied menu for 24 children each day. Catering for children of all ages and with consideration for dietary requirements and allergens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare lunch and tea for around 24 children each day.
- Cook alternative meals for children with allergies and food preferences
- Maintain high kitchen standards
- Carry out weekly food orders
- Complete necessary kitchen checks and Recording food temperatures
- Work as part of the nursery team
You will ideally hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide two satisfactory
