We have a need for a cook in our new restaurant. We are a franchisee of Rashays operating at Stockland Green Hills .We are renowned for offering a delicious fusion of Italian and modern Australian cuisine along with impeachable service and relaxed ambiance.
Job description
The position of cook will be under the direction of the Chef , with duties including:
 Ensure consistent quality in food preparation and presentation.
 Analyze recipes to meet dietary requirements of patrons
 Regulating temperatures of ovens, freezers and other cooking equipment
 Seasoning food during cooking
 Portioning food, placing it on plates
 Monitoring and ensuring that the food served is of the highest quality.
 Train, lead, and manage kitchen staff.
 Share culinary expertise for Kitchen staff development.
 Create visually appealing , tasty and exciting dishes.
 Plan customized menus for special occasions and events like birthday parties
 Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
 Have expertise in preparing and cooking various types of pastas , pizza , steak ,
entree and desserts as per the menu
Remuneration : $78,000/annum plus superannuation & allowances as per law
The ideal candidate would have a minimum two years of relevant experience in
cooking with a commitment for consistency , quality and tearn work . May be
required to work on week ends and on shift basis based on the roster.
