Sacca’s Fine Foods is growing — and we’re looking for experienced, passionate Chefs and Cooks to join our kitchen team as we launch our brand-new, full-service café/restaurant at our state-of-the-art store in
Our exciting new store concept is a one-of-a-kind food destination, featuring everything from an espresso bar and bakery to a sushi bar, fresh produce, and a licensed liquor store — all open 7 days a week. We’re building something special, and we want skilled, energetic team members who are excited to be part of it from day one.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Chef or Cook at Sacca’s Fine Foods, you’ll be part of a dynamic kitchen team focused on delivering consistently fresh, high-quality meals to our customers — fast. We offer a diverse menu, blending modern café classics with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
You’ll be involved in every part of the kitchen operation — from prep to plating — with a strong focus on speed, accuracy, food safety, and cleanliness.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to a high standard
  • Following recipes and portion guidelines accurately
  • Ensuring efficient use of stock and minimising food wastage
  • Operating kitchen machinery and equipment safely
  • Keeping kitchen areas clean, organised, and compliant with all OH&S and Food Safety standards
  • Managing food prep and mise en place for service periods
  • Working with a sense of urgency and maintaining accuracy during busy shifts
  • Assisting with receiving and storing stock deliveries
  • Performing occasional heavy lifting as needed
  • Collaborating with FOH and BOH staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience
