Due to success and expansion, We have an opening for a position of Cook/Chef at a pub in the heart of Dawley. We are looking for a passionate & enthusiastic team player to join us!
Overview:
Join our team as a Cook/Chef at our fast paced and fast growing pub. We are looking for a passionate individual with a flair for culinary arts to enhance our kitchen operations and delight our guests with traditional pub dishes. We pride ourselves on our fantastic reputation & excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation and cooking activities in the kitchen
- Execute menu items with precision and creativity
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members
Skills:
- Proficiency in all aspects of kitchen operations
- Experience in meal preparation and culinary techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Maintaining quality standards
