JOB SUMMARY:

We’re searching for a talented and enthusiastic Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team. As a key player in our culinary family, you’ll be crafting delicious, authentic Mexican dishes that will delight our guests. If you have a love for Mexican cuisine and a knack for cooking, this is the perfect role for you!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a cook, with a focus on Mexican cuisine.
  • Passion for cooking and a deep appreciation for authentic Mexican flavours.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive attitude and a love for bringing smiles to our guests’ faces through delicious food.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred but not essential
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, ensuring top-notch quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Help with food prep, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making salsas and sauces.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards to consistently deliver delicious meals.
  • Manage inventory and keep track of supplies to ensure we’re always ready to cook up something amazing.
  • Work efficiently and effectively during busy service times, maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
