Ipanema World Music Bar, a vibrant bar filled with global music and irresistible bar bites, is looking for passionate Cook (Commis Level) to join our fast-paced, music-filled kitchen! We offer a unique atmosphere where the energy of the music bar meets the rhythm of the kitchen.
As a Cook, you will master knife skills, prep ingredients, and gain valuable experience plating up delicious global bites alongside our talented chefs.

REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

• Certificate in Culinary Arts (or similar qualification) preferred, but not mandatory
• Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar kitchen would be an advantage

• Assist our chefs with preparing ingredients (washing, chopping, etc.)
• Learn essential cooking techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols
• Replenish supplies and keep the kitchen running efficiently
