As the Dietary Aide/Cook you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and delivery of food services for our residents. for our residents. Specific responsibilities include: Prepare meals according to standardized recipes and National School Lunch (NSL) guidelines. Assists in developing daily meal rotation menus. Prepare & deliver meals on time per guidelines of NSL. Maintain food storage and preparation areas per standards. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas at all times. Help supervise accurate meal count documentation. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Program Information What you need: To qualify you must meet be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED. Additional requirements include: Must be well groomed, in clean and proper clothing, and practices good personal hygiene at all times. Able to communicate clearly with managers, and other kitchen staff team members. Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). Understand and follow all safety and sanitation procedures. Able to safely and accurately handle kitchen utensils and other portioning and food preparation utensils. Apply now for immediate consideration!
