Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. Work alongside other talented culinary professionals to compose and prepare high quality scratch-made dishes. Schedule consists of working PM hours and weekends. Sign on Bonus of $3000 paid out in three installments of $750 at 3 months, $750 at 6 months and $1500 at one year of employment. Requirements General: Must be 18 years of age with ServSafe Certification indicating successful completion (Certification not required for consideration of the position) Requires one year of professional cooking experience Experience in large food quantity preparation in a health care setting is a plus. Must be able to perform each of the essential position functions. Education: Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of high school.
Responsibilities
The Cook will prepare and present menu items in a timely manner while efficiently running their station. They will also collaborate with the Food & Nutrition Services team and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
