These may include but are not limited to preparing food items for patient and retail food services according to standard recipes, food portioning, garnishing and setup for service, display cooking, setup and service; cleaning and sanitizing all equipment and work areas between use; maintaining accurate production records. 1. High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational training in Culinary Arts preferred. 2. Four to six months of prior institutional or commercial quantity cooking experience. Facility Description: Children’s Hospital of Michigan is an international leader in pediatric and adolescent medicine. Surgical services include general, thoracic, reconstructive and cardiovascular. Imaging technology designed specifically for children provides advanced diagnostic services including Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and MRI. The Children’s Hospital of Michigan Emergency Department is a verified Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and dedicated pediatric burn center.
