JOB OVERVIEW

Eau Claire Distillery, Alberta’s first craft distillery, is looking for a hands-on, experienced and creative Cook to join our back of house team in Diamond Valley. We serve a BBQ inspired menu with a focus on local ingredients for our patio, dining room and occasional private events.
This role is perfect for an experienced Cook or Sous Chef who is ready to help with prep, inventory counts for orders and contributing to the overall kitchen approach while still being very involved in day to day cooking.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 to 2 years in a kitchen cook, sous chef or similar role
  • Solid cooking skills with an eye for quality and presentation
  • Food Safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation to Diamond Valley with on-site parking provided
Responsibilities
  • Daily kitchen operations including prep, cooking and plating
  • On line for daily service while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Assist with daily and weekly prep to keep service running smoothly
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety regulations
  • Maintain positive teamwork, communication and customer service at the serving window
