Eau Claire distillery, Alberta’s first Craft Distillery, is seeking a driven and efficient professional to add to our back of house hospitality team. Join a small team of excellent cooks producing made-in-house meals for an extensive patio and dining room located in the small town Diamond Valley.
With a BBQ style menu and a focus on local ingredients, our days start with prep in the mornings, followed by a busy lunch service that tapers off into the evening. Occasional private catering events are hosted in house as well.
Skills in knifework, forward thinking, following a recipe, customer interactions, communication, a drive to improve, and an open mind for learning are an asset.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods of time are required.
Regular Tasks:
Requirements:
Kitchen experience recommended
Food safety certificate
Able to stand for extended periods and handle heavy (50lbs) food products
Clear communication with coworkers and management
Attention to details and quality
Conscious of food and personal safety
Follow simple dress code
Must be able to drive to location (parking on property) within the town of Diamond Valley
