Position Summary: The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Prior experience in food preparation, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or institutional setting. * Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus). * Ability to follow recipes and diet orders accurately. * Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills. Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. * Ability to work in a warm kitchen environment and handle kitchen equipment safely.
