Falcon House Residential Home is looking for a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Cook to join our friendly care home team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing fresh, nutritious meals and takes pride in creating a positive dining experience for elderly residents.

Position Details

• Full Time – Hours - 36 Hours / Week
• Working alongside our existing kitchen team and chefs
• Driver preferred/required due to the home’s location

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook balanced, home-style meals for residents (26 max.)
• Support residents’ dietary requirements and preferences
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
• Work closely with the care and kitchen teams to ensure a positive mealtime experience

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a care home, catering, hospitality, or professional kitchen environment - not mondatory
• Understanding of elderly nutrition and dietary needs is desirable - not mondatory
• A caring, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
