Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents’ preferences - Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a clean, safe, and timely manner - Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment - Collaborate with the dining team to plan menus that meet nutritional and aesthetic standards - Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed - Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting - Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special meal preparation - Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work days Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Good communication skills and a positive attitude At Grand Villa of Deland, we value our staff and are committed to fostering a welcoming, respectful, and growth-oriented environment.
