Bring your talents to the forefront as you provide a Watercrest Culinary Experience! Providing a variety of quality, fine dining recipes that enliven the senses of our residents, associates, and guests.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Servant Leadership directs all aspects of decision making * Conducts meal preparation, service, and clean-up in accordance with nutritional guidelines, regulations and prescribed resident diets * Knowledge of proper use of all cooking appliances * Assist with maintaining emergency food supplies * Communicate with all culinary vendors * Ensure presence in the dining room for resident satisfaction * Assists in providing adaptive equipment for residents when necessary * Ensures food service is presented in an attractive, gracious and timely manner * Ensure dishes, cooking utensils, and pots and pans are stored properly * Do pre-preparation for meals later in the day, week, or weekend or for special events * Reports to the Executive Chef any equipment and supplies that are needed * Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere * Maintain a safe, sanitary, clean, and organized cooking area * Must be in company uniform and resident ready at all times EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma or GED * SERV Safe (Required) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Two (2) years’ experience in professional food service * A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred   Can work either 5:30 am - 2:00 pm or 11:00am - 7:00pm
