Prepare and cook high-quality Mexican dishes following our established recipe guide Work efficiently with fresh ingredients to create vibrant and authentic flavors Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food delivery Adapt to changing customer demands and maintain productivity during peak hours Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements to enhance our offerings Participate in inventory management and assist with ordering supplies as needed Ensure consistent portion control and presentation of all dishes Assist in training new kitchen staff members on recipes and procedures Actively engage in continuous learning to stay updated on culinary trends and techniques Qualifications Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a Mexican or fast-casual restaurant setting Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine and flavor profiles Food safety and hygiene certification Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely Strong multitasking skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Passion for creating delicious food and providing an exceptional customer experience Ability to adapt to new technologies and kitchen equipment High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
