POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Cook to prepare classic, hearty meals in a fast-paced kitchen. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for good food made right. Training is also provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior cooking experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment preferred
• Solid understanding of kitchen safety and food handling procedures
• Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume setting
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and Hillbilly’s standards
• Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Ensure food is cooked safely and to proper temperatures
• Monitor food quality and presentation
• Follow portion control, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Assist with prep work, cleaning, and other kitchen duties as needed
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely
• Handle equipment safely and report any issues to management
