Cook - Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino
A Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while consistently contributing to departmental targets.
What will I be doing?
As a Cook, you are responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Cook will also be required to prepare all mis-en-place and contribute to departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

ADHERES TO SAFETY AND SECURITY STANDARDS, INCLUDING:

• Work area and equipment is cleaned, maintained and organized.
• Ensuring proper equipment operation.
• Working knowledge of local health/ sanitation, food storage and handling.
• Follow any internal, local health/ sanitation, guidelines/procedures to ensure food and beverage safety for guests.
• Ensure kitchen is readied for next shift.
• Responsible for labeling and dating all items placed in walk and/or reach-ins.

EDUCATION AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATES:

• EPI diploma (Secondary Vocational Education, or equivalent in hospitality/culinary studies
• Valid Aruba Health Card (Green Card)
