Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate South Indian Cook to join our growing restaurant team.

Due to expansion, we are looking for motivated kitchen team members to join us.

For the right applicant there is an option for 482 visa

Catering students welcome to apply.

we are happy to train passionate learners with basic south Indian cuisine knowledge and interest to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes including dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, curries and other South Indian specialties.
• Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation.
• Prepare ingredients, marinades and kitchen prep as required.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Assist with general kitchen duties and maintain a clean workstation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in South Indian cuisine preferred But not mandator.
• Good knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Catering students or candidates with basic South Indian cooking knowledge are welcome to apply.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
