· Participates in the preparation of food items according to event orders
· Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage
· Ensures the use of proper tools for the job, cooking techniques, and seasoning methods
· Communicate with others using clear and professional language
· Ensure proper time management in order to meet deadlines for preparations and events
· Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
· Manages kitchen cleanliness, requisitions, prep priorities and par levels of product
· Ensures coolers are being maintained throughout the shift and that the temperature logs are being filled out each shift
· Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
· Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
