JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will support food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll work closely with the kitchen staff to provide high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

  Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

• Assist with preparing ingredients (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning meat)
• Cook or reheat menu items under supervision of the Head Chef
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Receive and store food supplies and ingredients properly
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in stock rotation and inventory management
• Help with plating and presentation of dishes
• Perform other kitchen tasks as needed
