REQUIREMENTS

Certificate in Safe Food Handling

  • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations related to food handling.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on your own.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $20.74-$21.82 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and dishes according to established recipes and menus.
  • Assist in the planning of daily menus, ensuring variety and quality in meal preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper food storage practices.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations during food handling and preparation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and timely delivery of orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
